Pecorino Calcagno Pepato is a handmade cheese made from pasteurized sheep's milk and dotted with peppercorns from local farms on the island of Sardinia. Adding black peppercorns give the cheese a distinctive and spicy flavour.

Aged: 5 months.
Texture: Compact, firm, flaky and smooth with light holes.
Colour: Straw yellow

How to use: Great table cheese, grating, melting, slicing and adding it to grazing platters.
Pairings: Fresh figs, honey and with young red wine or a dry white wine such as a Soave.
