Pecorino Toscano (white) is a young cheese, made using sheep’s milk from Tuscany.
Aged: 40 days
Texture: smooth, dense and semi-soft
Colour: Pale Straw
Flavour: mild, creamy with leafy overtone
Aroma: grassy, milky, sweet
How to use: A great grated cheese, very good to be eaten on i ts own or with honey and fruit. Pecorino Toscano PDO has to be stored in the least cold department of the fridge, wrapped in a cotton cloth slightly moistened.
Pairings: Honey, jam, friut and Sangiovese and Chianti.
